Job Description:

The Willowgrove Program Staff are responsible for supporting the Programs Coordinator with the development and execution of program area activities at camp. As Head of Nature, you’ll lead the Nature, Take Root and Barn programming, providing campers with opportunities to learn about the natural world and meet our farm animals. This role requires driving the camp tractor for wagon rides. No prior experience is necessary, as training will be provided.

Training/Prep

Staff Training Dates: June 7, 8, 21 22

Program Training: June 27

All staff training dates are mandatory unless other arrangements have been made with the Camp Manager.

Must be available to all 8 weeks of the summer.

Camp Weeks

Week 1: June 30 - July 4

Week 2: July 7 – 11

Week 3: July 14 - 18

Week 4: July 21 - 25

Week 5: July 28 - Aug 1

Week 6: August 5 - 8

Week 7: August 11 - 15

Week 8: August 18 - 22


Position Requirements:

● Age 18+ with a minimum 1 year of camp experience

● G2 or G Driver’s License

● Passion and experience working outdoors with children

● Knowledge of animals and farm life is an asset

● Strong verbal communication skills

● Strong leadership skills and initiative

● Clean vulnerable sector police record check
