Job Description:
The Willowgrove Special Events Coordinator is responsible for the preparation and execution of all special events for the summer. This includes wide games, tuck, CampCan, Theme days, and Friday Special Events. Responsibilities include coordinating all logistical aspects of events happening at camp including purchasing supplies, coordinating staff and running the event in an organized manner.

Week 1: June 30 - July 4
Week 2: July 7 – 11
Week 3: July 14 - 18
Week 4: July 21 - 25
Week 5: July 28 - Aug 1
Week 6: August 5 - 8
Week 7: August 11 - 15
Week 8: August 18 - 22
Must be available to work all 8 weeks of summer
Training/Prep
Start Date: May 14
Leadership Team Orientation: May 22
Leadership Training at WDC: May 26 - 28
Open House: May 31
Staff Training: June 7, 8, 21, 22
Specialty Training: June 27
Camp Clean Up: August 25 + 26
All staff training dates are mandatory unless other arrangements have been made with the Camp Manager.
Position Requirements:
● Age 18+ with a minimum 2 years of camp experience
● Event planning experience
● Strong organizational and self motivation skills
● Confident in front of a large crowd
● Strong communications skills – both written and verbal
● Prior leadership experience
● Standard First Aid/CPR-C (not required but strongly recommended)
● Clean vulnerable sector police record check
