Youth Volunteer Program

The Volunteer Program (VP) at Fraser Lake Camp offers an exciting opportunity for youth to give back to the camp community while gaining valuable skills and experiences. Participants in the VP program, commonly referred to as VPs, will engage in a variety of activities, including helping with dishes, performing light cleaning, and contributing to special projects around the camp.

Staying Between Weeks

The Changeover Program is available to VP’s who wish to stay at camp for more than one week. Changeovers are available between VP 1 and VP 2, VP 3 and VP 4, and VP 5 and VP 6; however, please note that there is no Changeover Program between VP 2 and VP 3. The Changeover Fee is $66 and VPs will earn an additional 5 hours of volunteer service. Spots are limited and cannot be guaranteed; our team will confirm availability when reviewing your application.

Volunteer Service Hours

VPs have the opportunity to earn valuable volunteer service hours while contributing to our camp community.

 

Regular Week (7 days/6 nights)

VP 2, VP 3, VP 4, VP 6

25 community service hours

 

Short Week (5 days/4 nights)

VP 1, VP 5

15 community service hours

 
 

Application Process

  1. Parents/guardians complete the online application (Linked below)

    1. Create an account or log in with your existing account

    2. Select Fraser Lake Camp 2025 season

    3. Select the participant you are registering (and any other campers coming to camp)

    4. Add the VP week(s) of interest to the cart

    5. Complete the required parent/guardian forms including the VP Parent/Guardian Program Application form

    6. Pay deposit and submit application

  1. Youth complete the VP Participant Application form. A link to the form is included in the application and should be completed within a few days

  2. Both parent/guardian and youth forms will be reviewed by a member of our team who will contact families within a few weeks

Note: Once an application has been submitted, the participant’s spot will be held while the application is reviewed.
If the participant is not accepted into the program, all fees paid will be fully refunded.
