Wellness Coordinator

The Willowgrove Wellness Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the health and wellbeing of campers and staff. The Wellness Coordinator is the primary Health Care Provider for the camp. They are in charge of tending to all injuries, maintaining the Wellness Center, and stocking first aid supplies. 

Employment Dates:  

• May 22 - 23rd – Leadership Team Orientation

• May 25 - 29 – Leadership Training at Fraser Lake

• June 8, 9, 22, 23, 27 – Staff Training 

• June 25 - August 27

• Contract includes 2 days after camp for clean up. 

• Must be available to work the entire contract 

All staff training dates are mandatory unless other arrangements have been made with the Camp Manager. 

Position Requirements:

• Age 18+ with prior first aid experience

• Holds at least a current certifications in Standard First Aid + CPR-C.

•  Additional qualifications, or currently being enrolled in a college nursing or paramedic program are an asset

• Strong verbal communications skills

• Mental Health First Aid (not required but strongly recommended)

• Clean vulnerable sector police record check
