Summer Volunteer Opportunities

July & August

Each summer we rely on the volunteers who generously give of their time and skills to staff our kitchen, health center, and maintenance teams, in addition to hired staff.

Kitchen - Volunteers assist with kitchen activities and food preparation for campers and staff.

Health Center - Volunteers assist the Wellness Coordinator with the health of campers and staff. Health Center volunteers should have significant medical knowledge.

Maintenance - Volunteers assist our Facility Team with maintenance needs around the property.

Volunteer Requirements

All of our summer volunteers are required to sign off on our policies and procedures, as well as provide a clean Vulnerable Sector Check. Volunteers new to Fraser Lake may be asked to complete an interview with a member of our staff team.

Volunteer Discount

Volunteers who have a dependent registered for camp are eligible for a discount for their child. For volunteers who do not have a child or dependent joining them, they are able to gift their discount to another child. For more information, please contact Maeyken at mjones@fraserlakecamp.com.

Accommodations

Volunteers are assigned a cabin in the Volunteer Village. Volunteer cabins are individual cabins with a double or queen bed. Some cabins have a loft bed over the double/queen bed that can accommodate a small child.

Camp has allowed me to express myself without worrying about what others think. It has provided me with a safe environment to express myself where I am surrounded by an extremely supportive family. I don’t know where I’d be without camp but I do know that I would not have nearly as much confidence and joy in my daily life without it.
— J.S., Former Camper
